This years Together We Lift In Aid Of CPSL Mind is being help AT the Sawtry Carnival.

We would like to thank the team and committee of the Sawtry Carnival for allowing us to put on our event on their big day.

What is the Sawtry Carnival?
Some context around what Sawtry Carnival is for those who may not be local to the village. The Sawtry Carnival is a fun filled afternoon which aims to promote local businesses and bring our local community together. As Buds Fitness we have attended the last two years, and contributed to the atmosphere so to now be in a position to host our home event at the Sawtry Carnival truly means the world to us.

How will this effect the Together We Lift event experience?
The Together We Lift event day itself will be run very similar to years before, but this year we will be capping our numbers to 20 athletes only to ensure the event space does not feel overwhelming or crowded and we will be running the event on new timings to accommodate the Carnival itself.

Being a Carnival we know that footfall will be high, and we hope that those spectators will kindly donate via our QR codes and Donation pots that will be around the event station.

The event will still comprise of four core event stations. You will still be split into equal ability groups and given the opportunity to work with our highly decorated and qualified coaches.

The event day finishes with us coming together to get on the ALFitness Team Deadlift bar. This is a 47kg solid steel 9ft Axle Bar, and you will work in two’s to pick this up highlighting the real reason we are all there. . . To show that TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER!

Event Station 1 – Olympic Bar Deadlift.

Event Station 2 – Log Press.

Event Station 3 – Yoke & Front Hold.

Event Station 4 – Strength Register, Sandbag to shoulder.

Main Event, ALFitness Team Deadlift Bar.
